Law of Attraction: The more you believe in something, the more it will come to you

As the old saying goes, “What is in the heart is in the mind.” A person's behavior often reflects his or her inner beliefs. The road follows the heart, and the situation is created by the heart. If you determine in your heart that you will fail, then failure will become your home; if you refuse to accept success, then success will be far away from you. What you believe, what comes, what you believe, is actually your destiny.
Complaining all the time, everything is difficult

Xunzi wrote: “Those who complain about people are poor, and those who complain about heaven have no will.” Some people always keep complaining when they encounter problems and difficulties. The more they complain, the worse their situation becomes. There is a character, Fang Hong Jian, in the novel “The Besieged City”.

Fang Hongjian's father was a famous squire and his family was well-off, and he himself had the experience of studying abroad. At that time, he was far ahead of his peers in the starting line of life. However, unexpectedly, within just two years, his life was deteriorating and his days were getting worse and worse. During his study abroad, Fang Hongzhi changed three schools in four years. Time flies, graduation is imminent, he had to spend 30 dollars to buy a fake diploma, so as to muddle through in front of his father and father-in-law. Falsehoods and lack of real talent, Fang Hongzhan in the University of Sanlu was much neglected, criticized. Seeing someone around him backed by a big tree, turned into a professor, he began to feel dissatisfied with fate. Other people with connections to rise in the world, but his own full of talent but can not show, no one appreciated, can only be subordinate.

Gradually, he was perfunctory in every job, neither seeking progress nor feeling happy. When faced with dismissal, he blamed it all on others and was filled with resentment, believing that others had marginalized him and could not accommodate him. In the end, Fang Jianhong's life became poorer and poorer, and his work and family were a mess. If you complain to heaven, heaven will not respond; if you complain to others, others will not be convinced.

Tseng Kuo-fan once said, “Those who complain too much will be more suppressed later.” Situations in life often map out what you think in your heart. If you complain too often, you will feel that the road ahead is uncertain and full of challenges. If you are hopeful and positive, you will find opportunities to make progress. Every time you choose to believe, every time you affirm yourself, you are taking a step towards a better you. Instead of wandering in complaint, we should move forward in faith. Grudges will be turned into ambition, adjust the heart to change the mind, break the adversity out, can be met with darkness and light.

Do not be trapped in the moment, determined to move forward
As the old saying goes: “Since the knot customs since the living buried, since I closed also since I open.” Fortunate or unfortunate, often depends on the individual's mind. Su Shi's life of fluctuation, through the frost and tribulation, but he was always optimistic. In the officialdom, he was repeatedly ostracized because of political differences, and was demoted and relegated many times, through the ups and downs of the career. In life, he lost his mother in his early years, his wife in his middle age, his son in his later years, and his close friends passed away one after another. However, even if the fate was never gentle, he was able to understand life, through the sweet and sour, still maintain the love of life. When he was relegated to Huizhou, the world thought he would fall into despair. But he was there brewing wine and tasting lychee, reciting poems and painting, enjoying the fun of life, so happy. When he was relegated to Danzhou, people once again thought he would be alone, with no way forward. But unexpectedly, he and the local Li people “mingled”, into their lives. Three years, although the life of poverty, Su Shi can still find joy in the bitter, day-to-day monasticism, chanting Buddha, writing poetry, painting, self-indulgence and self-healing.

As the saying goes, “Those who know themselves don't blame others, and those who know their fate don't blame heaven.” Being negative when things go wrong will only add to your worries and will not help you. Keeping positive thoughts and not giving up on change will give you a chance to change the direction of your life. A woman named Selma lived with her husband on a military base in the desert. When her husband is away, she is left alone on the base, facing unbearable heat and a language barrier that prevents her from communicating with others. Cycling through this loneliness and misery day after day, she wrote to her parents. The father wrote back with only three lines, “Two prisoners looked out of their cell windows, one saw dirt, the other saw stars.” Selma read it over and over again and finally came to a realization, determined to transform and find her own star in the desert. She begins to learn the local language, make new friends, and study the desert ecology. Thelma grew into the land and no longer felt imprisoned. She became friends with the locals, fell in love with writing, published a book, and managed to turn things around.

Ji Xianlin said, “There are thousands of scenes, joys and sorrows, ups and downs on earth, and there is nothing others can do except themselves.” All kinds of life are the test of fate, and the result is decided by you.
